How do you create your artwork?

Our pet portraits are meticulously crafted by hand using traditional artistic methods. Options include oil paintings, pencil drawings, hand-engraved leatherwork, needle felting, embroidered designs and our signature pet ceramic pieces. Our talented artists carefully produce each piece with high-quality materials and unique personal details.

We strive to capture the essence of your pet by utilizing a diverse range of mediums, ensuring we find the ideal way to pay homage to your beloved companion.

Can you create portraits of all animals?

Yes! At woodykiki, we believe that all pets are unique and deserve to be celebrated. Whether you have a cute bunny or a majestic horse, we are ready to create a handcrafted portrait for you in the form of art you prefer.

Can I have more than 1 pet in a portrait?

Absolutely! We offer options for portraits with multiple pets. If you'd like more than 3 pets in a single portrait, please reach out to our support team at support@woodykiki.com for assistance.

Can I add my pet's name to the portrait?

Yes! If you would like the portrait to include your pet's name, please contact our support team at support@woodykiki.com for assistance.

Is the photo I have taken suitable for use?
  • A great photo is captured in a beautifully illuminated setting, preferably without any alterations and with the use of natural lighting.
  • It should be a close-up, frontal shot, showcasing the ears, head, neck, and chest in its entirety.
  • Try to avoid capturing images from above or ones that appear blurry.

Is it possible to change my order after checkout?

Yes, it is possible to make changes to your pet portrait order. However, please contact support@woodykiki.com within 30 minutes of placing your order to request any changes.

After the 30-minute timeframe, most changes, including address updates, cannot be made. Please be aware that making changes to orders may cause shipping delays in some cases.

What is Jump the Queue?

Jump the Queue is an optional add-on that prioritizes the creation of your custom portrait artwork. By moving ahead in our queue, your artwork will be completed and delivered to you faster compared to orders without this option.

Please be aware that it does not affect the shipping speed or transit time.

Why am I receiving an email to upload a new photo?

After you place an order, our artists review the photos of your pet to ensure they meet our quality standards for creating the best possible portrait. We carefully assess factors such as resolution, focus, lighting, pet's positioning, and other important aspects. This thorough review process typically takes 1 business day.

If your images do not fully meet our criteria, we will send you an email and, if available, a text message requesting new photos. This communication will explain what we are looking for and offer helpful tips to capture better pictures of your pet.

What are the shipping times?

Please note that shipping times are estimated from the day you approve your final artwork. These times are not fixed and can be influenced by any changes or additional photo requests.

  • US & Canada: 5 - 7 working days
  • UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand: 7 - 10 working days
  • Other regions: 7 - 12 working days

What are the artwork creation times?

The painting or crafting process usually takes 5 - 25 working days.

  • Oil Painting: 10-15 working days.
  • Pencil Drawing: 5-7 working days.
  • Needle Felting:12-20 working days.
  • Leather Engraving: 10-15 working days.
  • Embroidery: 15-25 working days.

We will provide you with a clear schedule for the creation of your order to keep you updated.

What is the cost of shipping?

Shipping is FREE to any location worldwide!

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

Since our portrait products are all customized and handmade, we start working on each order promptly once it is placed.

If you wish to cancel an order, please send an email to support@woodykiki.com within 30 minutes of placing your order, and we will evaluate your request for a refund. After 30 minutes, it will not be possible to cancel your order.

Will all my items be shipped together?

While we make every effort to deliver your items in one shipment, there may be instances where one item in your order is completed and shipped ahead of the others. For instance, if you have ordered an oil painting portrait and a leather-engraved keychain, the keychain may arrive separately.

Can I return my pet portrait artwork?

At woodykiki, we create custom handcrafted products that are tailored to each customer and their pet. Due to the personalized nature of these products, we do not offer returns. We take great care in designing your custom artwork based on the photo you provided.

However, if your item goes missing during shipping or arrives in a damaged condition, please contact us and we will make arrangements to promptly send you a replacement.

Order arrived damaged?

We strive to package our items with utmost care, but sometimes unfortunate incidents occur.

If your item is lost during shipping or arrives in a damaged condition, please reach out to us via email at support@woodykiki.com. Kindly attach photos of the damage, and we will promptly arrange for a replacement to be sent to you.

Previews

Is it possible to see a preview before ordering?

When you place an order, our team of talented artists receives your photo and chosen design. They work diligently to create a seamless portrait of your pet.

Please note that each portrait is created with care and this process takes time. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a preview before you make a purchase.

When can I expect my pet portrait preview?

Once your photos are approved, allow 3-5 days for our artists to complete an initial mockup preview. We'll email confirmation when it's ready for your review.

What happens after confirming the mockup preview?

Once you confirm the mockup preview, our artist will begin the process of hand-painting or handcrafting the artwork. The painting or crafting process usually takes 5-25 working days.

We will provide you with a more precise timing estimate as we start this process. If any changes occur that affect the schedule, we will keep you updated.
